James Bond, code name 007, drove some pretty spectacular cars in the service of Her Majesty. At the 50th anniversary of the super spy movies, many of the Bond vehicles can be seen thanks to passionate collector Michael Dezer. Over the decades, the developer has worked on an eclectic collection of automobiles that includes 46 cars that appeared in Bond films.
With opening of the Dezer Collection Automotive Museum in North Miami, the Israel-born collector extraordinaire has a fitting place to showcase his collection with two building sand more than 250,000 square feet. Constituting one of the largest collections of Bond props and vehicles in the world, the Dezer Collection’s Bond exhibition is values at more than $15 million and includes automobiles, motorcycles, submarines, airplanes, helicopters, boat and snowmobiles.
The collection is home to the golden gun itself, a T-55 Soviet tank featured in the 1995 Bond film Goldeneye. Also featured the original 1964 silver Aston Martin from Goldfinger and the silver Aston Martin Vanquish (equipped and displayed with machine guns) from Die Another Day.
General admission tickets are available to one of both of the buildings. Group tickets offer savings of up to 50% off the regular price. Also, special events and group meals can be arranged at the James Bond Gallery & Lounge, the 50’s-style diner, indoor drive-in movie theater and other spaces throughout the museum.
